Should we make a reservation long beforehand ?
Yes. During peak season (June to October) it is hard to reach us despite the new technology. Don't forget... we're in the bush...

You can call or email us but at times a few days may go by before we return your call. However, all emergency situations are treated readily.

How much time is needed to reach the outfitter ?
From Montréal: 10 hours
From Québec: 7 hours
From Godbout: 2 hours (forest road).

No. the convenience store at the Godbout village is authorized to emit the permits.

How long is the forest road and is it suitable for vehicules ?
No problem on the 43 KM stretch from the village of Godbout. We recommend a mini-van or pick-up type of vehicule.

You are located 60 KM from the village, and only 43 KM can be driven. How do we cover the remaining 17 KM ?
Good math ! In 1979 a main bridge collapsed so we pick you up at kilometer 43 where the adventure begins.

Can we fly to the outfitter ?
Yes, a 20-minute flight with Labrador Air Safari from Baie-Comeau will get you here. For a minimal fee we will make the reservation for you.
